about andrea

I'm a mental health counselor passionate about supporting young adults as they navigate life’s transitions—whether that’s adjusting to new roles, managing academic or social pressures, or figuring out who they want to become. My background in school-based counseling has shaped my holistic approach, which considers the personal, relational, and systemic influences that shape each person’s experience.

In therapy, I prioritize compassion, honesty, and collaboration. I believe that therapy should be as unique as the individual, and I tailor my work using an integrative approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported in showing up authentically and exploring whatever is on your mind.

Outside of my work, I’m always seeking perspective and balance in my own life. I love reading, trying new restaurants, wandering around NYC, and spending time with my family and our Maltipoo, Ted.

I look forward to creating a supportive space where you can show up fully, explore what matters most to you, and work toward the life you want to live.
